Contract rights of officers
In plain English: Being appointed an officer does not by itself create contract rights. Removing an officer does not affect whatever contract rights that officer may have with the association, and an officer's resignation does not affect the association's contract rights with the officer. In short, questions of officer pay or employment terms are handled separately from the act of appointing or removing an officer.
