Staggered terms for directors
In plain English: The articles or bylaws may stagger directors' terms by splitting the board into two or more groups whose terms end at different times. The groups' terms do not all have to be the same length. This means an association can arrange for only part of the board to come up for election at once rather than the whole board every year.
