Compensation of directors
In plain English: Unless the articles or bylaws provide otherwise, the board may set the compensation of directors. For homeowners, this means directors are not automatically paid or unpaid; whether and how much board members are compensated is something the board can decide, subject to any contrary rule in the governing documents.
