Duties and authority of officers
In plain English: Each officer has the authority and duties set out in the bylaws, or, to the extent consistent with the bylaws, those prescribed by the board or by another officer the board has authorized to assign officer duties. For homeowners, this means an officer's role and powers are defined by the bylaws and by the board rather than fixed by this statute itself.
