Stay of proceedings
In plain English: Allows the court to pause a derivative lawsuit. If the association begins its own inquiry into the claims raised in the demand or complaint, the court may stay the proceeding for as long as it considers appropriate.

If the corporation commences an inquiry into the allegations made in the demand or complaint, the court may stay any derivative proceeding for such period as the court deems appropriate.
