Consideration
In plain English: Covers what, if anything, a homeowner must pay or provide to be admitted as a member. Unless the articles or bylaws say otherwise, the association may admit members for nothing or for whatever amount the board decides.
10-3602. Consideration
Except as provided in its articles of incorporation or bylaws, a corporation may admit members for no consideration or for such consideration as is determined by the board.
