Introduced — no action Pro-homeowner
Includes restrictions for a planned community association (association) in regulating dogs and cats.
For homeowners: Pro-homeowner. It bars a planned-community HOA from prohibiting or limiting a dog or cat by breed, size, or weight, and makes any existing CC&R that does so unenforceable — the association may only set reasonable rules on the number or behavior of pets. It protects owners from losing a family pet to an arbitrary breed or weight ban. It did not advance this session.
